On the 17th and 18th of October the Humanitarian Congress took place in Berlin and I (Johanna Spring) as a member of UnifiedforHealth got the change to take part in it. This year's topic was: "A perfect storm - Humanitarian Impacts of Climate Change". Through lectures, discussion rounds and workshops I was able to gain valuable knowledge about climate justice (and what role do women play in this process) and the impact of climate change on humanitarian aid. Well-known personalities (e.g. Carola Rakete or Claudia Roth) helped to spread the message of this year's congress. Now it is our job to use the newly-acquired knowledge in our work in the different projects!
